Mate Peter

Máté Péter was born in Budapest on February 4, 1947.

He was a self taught pianist, singer, songwriter, composer, musical arranger, guitar player. He grew to great success on the Hungarian music scene, releasing numerous albums and many chart topping singles. His eclectic and cutting edge style plus his charm and good looks made women beg for his autograph and sometimes swoon at his feet.

Apparently, Peter was something of a tortured artist,despite his success, he suffered from incredible stage fright and often dreaded taking the stage.
