Denis Richard

Denis Richard (September 21, 1961 – August 28, 2017) was a Canadian, Acadian, singer-songwriter and guitarist.

His first album, “C’est mieux comme ça” released in 1996 contained now classic Acadian songs such as “Petit-Rocher”. He also wrote songs for the theatre and cinema as well as for artists such as Zachary Richard, Jean-François Breau, and Roch Voisine. Richard also launched two albums for the theatre: “Laurie ou la vie de galerie” and “Les défricheurs d’eau”.
