Blackbyrd

Made up of three dynamic young Capetonians, Tarryn Lamb, Samantha Heldsinger and Tamsyn Maker, as BlackByrd, all have spent the past three years working towards the moment when EMI Music signed them to their major label and turned their lives around irrevocably.

Taking their name from the classic Beatles track, BlackByrd are in the process of turning adult-contemporary pop convention on its head, thanks to Lamb's new-found talent as a critical songwriter.
