Biografía:
Eddie Cantor (su verdadero nombre era Israel Iskowitz hijo de inmigrantes de origen ruso y judío). nació el 31 de enero de 1892 y falleció el 10 de octubre de 1964) fue un actor, cantante y compositor estadounidense. El movimiento de sus ojos cuando cantaba y bailaba le valieron el mote de Banjo Eyes (Ojos de banjo). En 1917 Cantor debutó en Broadway con la revista Ziegfeld Follies de 1917. Trabajó en el cine, la radio y escribió libros cómicos, entre ellos uno sobre su experiencia al quedarse en la ruina tras el crash de 1929.
