Biografía:
Deep Purple es una banda de Hard Rock formada en Hertfordshire, Inglaterra, en 1968, que está considerada como una de las pioneras del heavy metal y del hard rock, aunque también incorporó elementos del rock progresivo. A lo largo de su carrera han vendido más de 100 millones de discos en todo el mundo, y fueron reconocidos como la banda más ruidosa del mundo por el libro Guinness de los récords en los años 70.
La banda ha sufrido múltiples cambios en su alineación y permaneció inactiva desde 1976 hasta 1984.
