Biografía:
David Essex es un reconocido artista en su nativa Inglaterra, gracias a sus trabajos como músico, lider de banda, productor y actor. Dio sus primeros pasos en el mundo de la fama participando en el musical "Godspell", y el film "That'll Be the Day" (1974), en el que pudo exponerse ante los americanos como el más "prometedor newcomer inglés". A esto le siguieron éxitos con canciones pop como "Rock On" y "Stardust", grabando numerosos singles y álbumes que vendieron millones de copias.

poem by Sir John Benjamin and then it was recorded by David Essex.
The single entered the UK charts in 1987 and stayed there for 7 weeks.
