Daniel Powter es un músico canadiense, nacido el 25 de febrero de 1971. Creció en Vernon, en la provincia de Columbia Británica. Con influencia de algunos ritmos locales, se inició pronto a la música por su madre, que era pianista y lo llevó consigo en largos viajes para ver a artistas como "Prince", en Vancouver.
Éxito temprano
El primer tema de Daniel Powter, "Bad Day" (Mal día) no debutó en su natal Canadá, sino en Europa, a mediados de 2005.
