Carrie Marie Underwood (Muskogee, Oklahoma, 10 de marzo de 1983), es una cantante de música country estadounidense. Es conocida también por ser la triunfadora de la 4º temporada del popular concurso de talentos estadounidense "American Idol". El 15 de noviembre del 2005, su primer disco solista "Some Hearts" debutó en el 2º puesto en el Billboard 200. más de un año después las ventas rozan los 6 millones de copias solo los EE.UU.
