Built to Spill nunca fue considerado la nueva promesa del indie rock internacional y quizá eso le sirvió para conseguir formarse una reputación enorme entre los círculos más entendidos. En la estela de Pavement, pero con una trayectoria mucho más compacta, ha llegado hasta la actualidad a un nivel formidable y sigue ofreciendo experiencias sonoras excitantes.
