Formado originalemnte en 1968, fue uno de los Grupos mas populares en los primeros años de la década de los años 1970s, uno de los primeros y mejores ejemplos de lo que más tarde sería catalogado como "soft rock", género consistente en un estilo de bien creadas melodías acústicas sobre todo a base de instrumentos de cuerdas.
