Biografía:
William Royce Scaggs (8 Junio 1944, Canton, Ohio) es un cantante, compositor y guitarrista conocido por sus éxitos a mediados de los setentas y principios de los ochentas.
Comenzó su carrera en las filas de la Steve Miller Band para continuar en solitario, donde alcanzaría el éxito, acompañado en sus primeros discos por músicos de estudio de la talla de Jeff Porcaro, Steve Lukather o David Paich (todos ellos posteriores miembros del grupo Toto).
