Biografía:
Yusuf Islam (21 de julio 1948, Londres - ) es un artista británico más conocido como Cat Stevens. Nació con el nombre Stephen Demetre Georgiou, hijo de madre sueca y de padre greco-chipriota. Cuando tenía 8 años, sus padres se separaron pero siguieron conviviendo como familia en la misma casa. Habitaban el piso superior del restaurante de su propiedad, donde todos trabajaban.
Su primer instrumento musical fue el gran piano que había en la casa.
