Biografía:
Born Ruffians son una banda de indie rock canadiense, originaria de una pequeña ciudad llamada Midland, Ontario ubicada cerca de Georgian Bay. Los miembros de la banda son Luke Lalonde (guitarra/voces), Mitch Deroiser (bajo), y Steven Hamelin (bateria).
La banda lanza su primer debut EP en el año 2006. Fue grabado por Ryan Mills en el Little King Studio (ahora Sleepytown Sound). Tuvieron mucho espacio en la radio CBC Radio 3 con su debut single, "This Sentence Will Ruin/Save Your Life", además de un cover de Grizzly Bear's.
