Biografía:
Bon Iver es uno de los proyectos musicales del cantautor estadounidense de indie folk Justin Vernon, que se materializó el año 2007. El nombre viene del francés "bon hiver" ("buen invierno"). Tras la disolución de su anterior grupo DeYarmond Edison, Vernon, que fue diagnósticado de mononucleosis, se aisló del mundo en el noroeste de Wisconsin y comenzó a escribir música. En tres meses creó el disco "For Emma, Forever Ago", el cual fue lanzado bajo el nombre de Bon Iver en julio de 2007 de forma independiente.
