Birds of Tokio es un quinteto australiano que se formó en 2004 por músicos con bastante experiencia en la escena del rock alternativo en Perth.
Está formado por Ian Kenny (voz), Adam Spark (guitarra), Ian "White Goods" Berney (bajo), Adam Weston (batería) y Glenn Sarangapany (teclados).
La banda ha publicado cinco discos larga duración: Day One (2007), Universes (2008), Birds of Tokyo (2010), March Fires (2013) y Brace (2016); tres EP: Birds of Tokyo (2005), This Fire (2012) y Anchor (2015); un disco compilatorio: Playlist (2015).
