Taxista por casualidad de Mark E. Smith (The Fall), preocupado por el futuro del planeta; fan de Bruce Springsteen, Pixies y Jeff Buckley, músico de mentira a la salida del metro... Badly Drawn Boy es como un turista accidental en el panorama del pop británico de la última década. Su nombre real es Damon Gough, formó el sello Twisted Nerve con Andy Votel a finales de los años 90 y comenzó entonces su carrera de cantautor viendo así cumplido su sueño: hacer algo que le entusiasmara de veras.
