Es una cantante que musicalmente combina influencias del pop-punk, post-grunge, alternativa y teen pop . Ha vendido varios millones de copias con sus tres primeros discos y en el 2011 lanzó su 4to álbum que incluye los sencillos What The Hell, Smile y Wish You Were Here.
