Broken Bells es una banda estadounidense de rock alternativo integrado por artistas y productores de la talla de Brian Burton (Danger Mouse) y James Mercer, el vocalista y guitarrista de la banda de rock indie The Shins. Broken Bells compone y crea como un dúo, pero están unidos por una banda completa en el tour. Tras el éxito de su primer álbum titulado "Broken Bells" ; Mercer y Burton han anunciado intenciones de grabar un segundo. Los dos describen su material como "melódico, pero experimental, también".
