All Time Low es una banda Americana de pop punk formada en Lutherville, Maryland en el año 2003.
Principios
Okay first off, this is my version of the song, and it's got some really cool voicings of chords, and it sounds TONS better then a good amount of Acoustic tabs on here.
The tuning. as strange as it is, is Open Dsus4. Sounds crazy but really isn't.
Starting on Low E String: DADGAD
simple tune your Low E DOWN to D, Tune Your B DOWN to A, and your High E DOWN to D.
Now you capo the 5th fret if you want it to be in the same key as the recording, but when I play it, I don't use one.
Now look at the chord fingering carefully because they are unusual, and won't work in standard tuning.
chords used
C (007700) G (077900) or (777900) *the second one gives you a Fuller more Bass-y sound* F (055700) or (555700) *See Above* Cmaj7 (007704) Fmaj7 (055000) or (555000) *See Above)
The Maj7 chords can just be played as the Regular chord, if it sounds better to you.
(listen for the strumming on the first C and G)
C Time to lay claim to the evidence G Fingerprints sell me out F But our footprints washed away
From the docks downtown
It's been getting late for days C And I feel myself deserving of a little time off G We can kick it, hang for hours F And just mouth off about the world
And how we know it's going straight to hell Cmaj7 Pass me another bottle, honey
The Jaeger's so sweet G But if it keeps you around, then I'm down
C Meet me on Thames Street
I'll take you out G Though I'm hardly worth your time FFmaj7 In the cold, you look so fierce G But I'm warming up
Because the tension's like a fire C We'll hit South Broadway in a matter of minutes G And like a bad movie, I'll drop a line FFmaj7 Fall in the grave I've been digging myself G But there's room for two CCmaj7 Six feet under the stars
C I should have known better than to call you out G (On a night like this, a night like this) C If not for you, I know I'd tear this place to the ground G (But I'm all right like this, all right like this) C I'm gonna roll the dice Cmaj7G Before you sober up and get gone
I'm always in over my head
C Thames Street
I'll take you out G Though I'm hardly worth your time FFmaj7 In the cold, you look so fierce G But I'm warming up
Because the tension's like a fire C We'll hit South Broadway in a matter of minutes G And like a bad movie, I'll drop a line FFmaj7 Fall in the grave I've been digging myself G But there's room for two C Six feet under the stars
Time to lay claim to the evidence G Fingerprints sell me out F But our footprints washed away G I'm guilty, but I'm safe for one more day Cmaj7 Overdressed and underage G Do you really need see an ID? F This is embarrassing as hell G But I can cover for it so well C When we're six feet under the stars
(If you are playing this song by yourself, don't say "stars", and skip straight to "thames stree")
C Thames Street
I'll take you out G Though I'm hardly worth your time FFmaj7 In the cold, you look so fierce G But I'm warming up
Because the tension's like a fire C We'll hit South Broadway in a matter of minutes G And like a bad movie, I'll drop a line FFmaj7 Fall in the grave I've been digging myself G But there's room for two C
