Alan Eugene Jackson (nació el 17 de Octubre de 1958 en Newnan, Georgia). Es un canta-autor estadounidense de música Country, quien ha vendido mas de 40 millones de copias. El fue influenciado por el nuevo country tradicional de los años 80´s, y fue uno de los mas populares cantantes de country de la decada de los noventa. Mezclando la musica honky tonk y los sonidos comunes del country.
El continuo después del 2000 y su música comenzó a ser cada vez mas compenetrada hacia el country tradicional que hacia la música pop.
