Sara Evans, vocalista de música country, nació en 1971 en Missouri, EE.UU., donde se crió y comenzó una carrera musical actuando en el grupo de su padre desde pequeña. En 1992, se trasladó a Oregon donde actuó en el dúo Sara Evans & North Santiam, pero pocos años después Evans regresó a Nashville para grabar su álbum de debut titulado “Three Chords & The Truth” (1997). Desde entonces, su fama no dejó de crecer y en el año 2000 dio la campanada con el tema principal de su álbum “Born to Fly”.
