Robyn Hitchcock es un poeta, pintor, actor, cantante y compositor británico nacido en 1953. Su primera grabación la hizo en el año 1976 con la banda The Soft Boys. Se separaron en 1981, y Hitchcock comenzó su carrera en solitario con el nombre Robyn Hitchcock & The Egyptians. Las influencias de Hitchcock incluyen a Bob Dylan y la psicodelia de Syd Barrett.
