Quite an easy, yet classic song from the band's debut EP. An acoustic version from Creation 'Undrugged' at the Royal Albert Hall can be found on 'I Don't Know Where it Comes From' CD#1.
Intro (Tab) This is repeated at various points all through the song. This might be tabbed(?) for the wrong position, but the notes themselves are correct.
Some of these lyrics are bound to be wrong - but nobody's perfect :)
F#EBA Can you see the light of the blue on the signs? F#EBA Can you see the roads of the long white lines? F#EBA Feeling the ground through the pedals on the floor. F#EBA Feeling death mounting at the door.
Windows all open, there's chaos in my hair. Drive me around and your leaving me there. Cover my eyes to that traffic blind. Cover my trail and we'll leave this life
AA All I want is too much light. AB Catching it frozen in the snout. AA Dry flashes at the trains. AB Going, flowing - we're lifting off the ground.
[Generally do whatever you wat for a bit :)]
[The F#/E/B/A bit again]
Can you see the light of the blue on the signs? Can you see the roads of the long white lines. Cover my eyes to that traffic blind. Cover my trail and we'll leave this life
[Keep repeating F#/E/B/A but for the last time eack chord lasts for 4 times the length.]
That's yer lot for now. If you download this, please mail me - just so I know if anyone does actually use it. Also mail me if you are a student at Birmingham University and wouldn't mind being in a band to play this sort of stuff (I can be a guitarist or bassist). The band I am in at the moment is too rock based and I wouldn't mind playing stuff I like.
Cheerio,
