Regina Spektor es una cantante y pianista estadounidense de origen ruso-judío que esta activa desde el año 1999
Regina nació el 18 de febrero de 1980 en Moscú. Spektor proviene de una familia muy musical: su padre fue violinista y su madre, profesora de música. En Rusia, Spektor tocaba el piano desde que tenía seis años, y escuchaba bandas de rock, como The Beatles y Queen. Cuando contaba con 9 años, ella y su familia abandonan Rusia y fijan su residencia en Estados Unidos. Actualmente vive en el Bronx, Nueva York.
