Biografía:
Penny and Sparrow é um duo indie folk formado em 2011 por Andy Baxter e Kyle Jahnke, enquanto estavam vivendo como companheiros de quarto na Universidade do Texas em Austin. Inspirados em bandas como The Swell Season, Bon Iver e Mumford & Sons, os dois amigos começaram a escrever e cantar juntos, criando arranjos acústicos simples e gravando em um laptop. Seu primeiro trabalho, um EP de três músicas chamado Creature, apresentou baladas calorosas e sinceras que se tornariam seu cartão de visitas.
