Biografía:
Pixies son un grupo proveniente de la ciudad de Boston, Estados Unidos y formado en 1985. El grupo se desintegró en 1993 en circunstancias muy tensas pero se reunieron en 2004. Ha estado conformado desde su creación por Black Francis, Joey Santiago, Kim Deal y Dave Lovering. Si bien Pixies sólo pudo conseguir un muy modesto éxito en su país, alcanzaron mucho mayor reconocimiento en Europa, en especial en el Reino Unido, a pesar de que ninguno de sus álbumes fue un éxito comercial.
