Orphaned Land, es una banda de metal progresivo de Israel, su musica contiene elementos de la musica tradicional de medio oriente, su nombre anterior fue "Resurrection" en 1991, depues cambio a Orphaned land, nombre que tiene un significado muy profundo relacionado con su identidad cultural y sus tradiciones. Orphaned land ha fusionado el Doom y el Death Metal, así como la musica folclórica de medio oriente, que predomina sobre las raices de heavy metal en el resultado final.
