Hi everyone this is the acoustic version!!
This is my first submission because none of the others sounded right.
I used the acoustic version to tab this out. Thanks for your support!
Difficulty: Beginner
Tuning: Standard, Capo on 4th
G / Em7 / Cadd9 | Cadd9 / Dsus / Em | Em / Em7 / Cadd9 | Cadd9 / Em7 / G
(The chord names make it look complicated but don't worry! Look at the tabs I
wrote and it's super simple)
G Em7 Cadd9 Cadd9 Dsus Em Em Em7 Cadd9 Cadd9 Em7 G
E|--3----3------3------3------3-----0----(3)----3------3--------3------3-----3---|
B|--0----0------0------0------3-----0-----0----(3)----(3)------(3)-----3----(3)--|
G|--0----0------0------0------2-----0-----0-----0------0--------0------0-----0---|
D|--0----0------0------0------0-----2-----2-----0------0--------0------0-----0---|
A|--2----2------3------3------0-----2-----2-----2------3--------3------2-----2---|
e|--3------------------------------------------------------------------------3---|
Strumming is simple, listen to the song or watch the acoustic version to get the
strumming.
Simply, the strumming is:
Down Up, Down Up, Down, LS-PM, Down Down, Down Up, Down, LS-PM
(comma means new chord,
LSPM means light strum then palm mute
listen to the song to understand what I mean.
To add a bit of style and spice, after the second Em emphasize your strumming more on the
higher strings and not as much on low e and A to change up your sound.)

Four dozen of roses
Anything for you to notice
All the way to serenade you
Doing it Sinatra style
Ima pick you up in a Cadillac
Like a gentleman bringin' glamour back
Keep it reel to reel in the way I feel
I could walk you down the aisle
I wanna thrill you like Michael
I wanna kiss you like Prince
Let's get it on like Marvin Gaye
Like Hathaway
Write a song for you like this
You're over my head
I'm out of my mind
Thinking I was born in the wrong time
It's love on rewind,
Everything is so throwback-ish (I kinda like it, like it)
Out of my league
Old school chic
Like a movie star
From the silver screen
You're one of a kind living in a world gone plastic
Baby you're so classic
Baby you're so classic
Baby you're so classic
Baby you're class and baby you're sick
I never met a girl like you ever 'til we met
A star in the 40s, centrefold in the 50s
Got me tripping out like the sixties
Hippies Queen of the discotheque
A 70s dream and an 80s best
Hepburn, BeyoncÈ, Marilyn, Massive
Girl you're timeless, just so classic
You're over my head I'm out of my mind
Thinking I was born in the wrong time
It's love on rewind,
Everything is so throwback-ish (I kinda like it, like it)
Out of my league
Old school chic
Like a movie star
From the silver screen
You're one of a kind living in a world gone plastic
Baby you're so classic
Baby you're so classic
Baby you're so classic
***Side Note (If you like to hit 2nd fret on 1st string (e string) instead of
leaving it open for G and Em7 etc, feel free, whatever you think sounds better to
you!
On the way back from the two Ems I hold my little finger on the third fret 1st
string to have a different tone on the way back.
