Misfits es un grupo musical de horror punk y hardcore punk formado en 1977 en la ciudad de Lodi, Nueva Jersey, liderado originalmente por el cantante Glenn Danzig y el bajista Jerry Only. La banda está enlazada al hardcore además de estar estrechamente relacionada por géneros como el punk rock, heavy metal, el rock and roll. Misfits siempre ha mostrado afinidad con el público del heavy metal, debido a que sus letras y su actitud son diferentes de los que tenían los grupos de punk anteriores.
