Marc Cohn (* 5 de julio de 1959 en Cleveland, Ohio, Estados Unidos) es un canta autor estadounidense que reside en Nueva York. Se hizo famoso en la escena musical internacional en 1991 con su éxito Walking in Memphis de su álbum debut Marc Cohn. Ese mismo año obtuvo el Grammy como Mejor Artista Nuevo. En 1993 publicó su segundo álbum The Rainy Season, al que seguiría Burning the Daze (1998). En 2005 apareció el álbum en directo Marc Cohn Live: Limited Edition EP.

Hey, this is my first tab (even though the majority of it isn't mine, I've just rearranged it into a more readable format), so sorry if some things are a little weird, please don't be too harsh!
Walking in Memphis is a beautiful song, and even though it's arranged on piano it works really well with a solo acoustic or as part of a band.
This is the way I play the song. I learned it off Joe D (Gocaps)'s tab, and modified it a little in relation to some little changes chord-wise, lyrics-wise and just a bit of tidying up to make the tab a little more readable.
