Biografía:
Los Manfred mann fueron uno de los mejores grupos británicos de los 60's; un grupo que supo combinar muy bien su faceta R&B y jazz (la verdadera pasión de la banda), con el pop mas pegadizo y bien construido.
La banda se forma en Londres a finales de 1962 con el nombre de The Mann-Hugg Blues Menn. Manfred Mann, cuyo nombre real era Manfred Lubowitz había nacido en Johanesburgo (Sudáfrica), pero en 1961 se fué de allí, principalmente por su descontento con el régimen de Apartheid que predominaba en su país.
