James Todd Smith III (nacido el 14 de enero de 1968) es un cantante de rap americano mejor conocido por su nombre artístico LL Cool J ("Ladies Love Cool James"). Es conocido por sus baladas románticas como "I Need Love" o por sus temas hardcore rap como "I Can't Live Without My Radio". Además, LL ha aparecido en varias películas y esta visto ante el público femenino como un sexsymbol. Es el primer artista de rap en conseguir seis discos platinos consecutivos y seis singles de oro.
