Might not be 100% accurate, same as Sea Song. But it's a start. any questions [email protected] I do most of my chord transcriptions using the Piano, so the root notes in chords like Db/F might not sound equally good on guitar. You can just use Db and it will sound good anyway.
Intro: AbFm
AbFm We landed our heavy hearts AbFm motors with broken parts BbmDb we had a deck of cards AbFm it was a start
We'd sit out in the sun and wait for our skin to turn you would ask for truth and I'd look for something to burn
GbDb/FFm Oh, we walked in a hallowed place back then Gb on the edge of Dublin, the edge of May and June Db/FFm Oh, to live in a paper house again GbDb/FAbFm where we grew by the light of the moon, oh
Often we took the train the sky pacing white to gray when you or I would leave and the other would stay
And we were all that we had and breathed in each others words I would ask for truth and you'd look for something to burn
Oh, we walked in a hallowed place back then on the edge of Dublin, the edge of May and June Oh, to live in a paper house again where we grew by the light of the moon
You were much younger then younger than I am now I still keep as much an eye as the wires allow I still keep as much an eye as the wires allow
Oh, we walked in a hallowed place back then on the edge of Dublin, the edge of May and June Oh, to live in a paper house again where we grew by the light of the moon
Oh, you know what you are to me and you know you will always be
Note:
Lisa plays this with a Capo on the first Fret, so the chords, for quick reference would be:
GEm (verse) AmC (last part of the verse) FCEmF (Chorus) FC (last part of the chorus) GEm (verse again)
