O cantor/compositor de Londres Lewis Watson teve seu começo na música quietamente fazendo uploads de versões cover de suas canções favoritas em uma sonolenta conta no YouTube em 2010. O cantor fez uso de violão acústico complementado com sua voz levemente emotiva em cover de canções de The Knife, Bombay Bicycle Club, Bon Iver e outros, e pouco tempo depois ele estava fazendo uploads de suas próprias composições originais com grande reação.
