Less Than Jake América es una banda de ska punk de Gainesville, Florida. Originalmente formado en 1992 como un trío de power pop (Chris Demakes, Shaun Grief y Vinnie Fiorello), la banda evolucionó hasta convertirse en un híbrido de tercera ola ska y punk rock, con adición de elementos de rock moderno e incluso metal. Hasta la fecha, el grupo ha publicado siete álbumes larga duración y una serie de singles y recopilaciones. La actual agrupación esta compuesta por guitarrista / vocalista Chris Demakes
