Biografía:
La Roux es un dúo de synthpop de Brixton (Londres, Inglaterra) formado por la cantante y compositora Eleanor Jackson (más conocida como Elly Jackson) y Ben Langmaid, co-productor y co-escritor a la sombra, motivo por el cual Elly es conocida por el nombre del grupo.
Elly y Ben se conocieron en 2006 y su amistad les llevó a empezar a grabar cosas juntos bajo el nombre de "Automan", aunque tenían un sonido más acústico. Dos años después lanzarían, respaldados por la discográfica francesa Kitsuné, su primer sencillo "Quicksand".
