Biografía:
Toda empieza a finales de los 70, cuando la familia Stern se tiene que mudar desde Canadá a California por cuestiones laborales. De esta forma los tres hermanos Stern se ven de pronto inmersos en los inicios del movimiento punk californiano, formando parte de los primeros años de la escena.
Después de graduarse en el instituto, Shawn Stern (guitarra y voz), Mark Stern (bajo) y Adam Stern (batería) deciden formar Youth Brigade en 1980 en plena explosión de la música punk.
