Biografía:
Widowspeak es un trío formado en el barrio neoyorquino de Brooklyn en 2010 cuyo sonido se caracteriza por ser una mezcla de shoegaze y dream pop con guitarras abrasivas, tenues melodías vocales y gran importancia de la ambientación.
Grabaron sus primeras canciones utilizando tan solo el micrófono de un ordenador portátil. Se auto-editaron en el llamado 'October Tape', que acabó cayendo en la discográfica Captured Tracks.
Semanas después, apenas tras su sexto concierto, grabaron su primer single, en anticipo de un posterior LP.
