We are the ocean es una banda de post- hardcore integrada por Dan Brown (vocalista), Liam Cromby (guitarrista y vocalista), Alfie Scully (guitarrista), Jack Spence (bajista) y Tom Whittaker (batarista) provenientes de Londres, Inglaterra. La banda ha tocado en cientos de conciertos desde su formación, incluyendo varios festivales del 2008 como el Slam Dunk, Offset Festival, Middlesbrough Music Live, y Taste Of Chaos.
