Este comentario, junto con la frase «el blues no debería ser un museo, la música debería estar viva y en constante expansión», han sido repetidas en numerosas ocasiones por Walter Trout a lo largo de sus 35 años de carrera.
Walter Trout nace en 1951 y crece en un hogar en el que se amaba la música en Ocean City, Nueva Jersey.
