Uffie (Anna-Catherine Hartley) nació en Miami, se crío en Hong Kong y ahora vive en París. Debutó con los singles Pop The Glock y Ready To Uff, ambos con ritmos electrónicos y unas letras bastante provocadoras.
Unos meses más tarde, Hot Chick e In Charge se pudieron descargar a través de internet. Por otro lado, una de sus canciones más conocidas, llamada Dismissed fue recopilada en el disco "Ed Rec Vol.2" del sello discográfico Ed Banger Records.
