The Residents son un grupo de música avant-garde ademas de un colectivo performance, han sacado cerca de sesenta albums, creado numerosos filmes cortos, diseñado tres proyectos en CD-ROM, Y seis grandes tours a nivel mundial. A pesar de su larga carrera, de casi cuatro decadas, han mantenido su anonimato.
