This is a pretty straightforward strumming pattern. The only quirk is the
Em7 with the * beside it. It’s basically an Em7 played as a barre chord at
the 7th fret. You lift the middle and ring fingers off leaving the barre at
the 7th and then back to playing the Em7. Listen to the song for the strum
pattern. Most of the song is played with the barre versions of the chords
but still sounds OK with open chords too.
