Steven Siro Vai, guitarrista y compositor estadounidense. Vai es conocido principalmente por sus composiciones, actuaciones y producciones de música instrumental de guitarra, pero además ha participado en grabaciones de otros muchos artistas del rock. Es considerado uno de los principales guitarristas eléctricos, y un revolucionario dentro del rock instrumental.
En su juventud, Vai se interesó en grandes del rock como Jimi Hendrix, Alice Cooper y Led Zeppelin que fomentó su interés en aprender guitarra.
