Trece años después de su nacimiento como banda, Sloan no sólo siguen juntos, sino que además acaban de preparar una recopilación de sus mejores canciones. La fina ironía que envuelve el asunto no es que la banda no se lo merezca –siguen siendo tan aclamados y queridos como en sus comienzos –, sino que sólo unos pocos, quizás ni siquiera ellos mismos, pensaron que llegarían al año 2005 intactos y sin bajas en su formación original, además de enfrentarse al reto de editar una antología de sus singles.
