One Cool Remove - Shawn Colvin version (written by Greg Brown, I think) from CD Cover Girl
It's taken from her trio performance on Austin City Limits, but that is very close to the CD version anyway.
CAPO at 2nd fret
Intro: CG/BGCG/BD/A
GD/F# One cool remove, one cool remove C/EAm7D/ACGGsus4GDsus4 Forever let me stay one cool remove away GD/F# One cool remove, one cool remove C/EAm7D/A See it all in a passion play CG One cool remove away Gsus4G
CCsus4C One cool remove from the white sun GGsus4G Rising like a cloud above the land CCsus4C One cool remove from the red moon DC9D/A Falling like a hand
GD/F# One cool remove, one cool remove C/EAm7D/A And neither come nor go nor stay CGGsus4GGsus4 One cool remove away
Guitar Solo chords: GD/F#CGD CGGDGG7
CCsus4C One cool remove from the white sun GGsus4G Rising like a cloud above the land CCsus4C One cool remove from the red moon DC9D/A Falling like a hand
One cool remove, one cool remove And neither come nor go nor stay One cool remove away
CG One cool remove away
Outro is a variation on the verse chords, I think.
I may have some words wrong.
D/F#=2x0232 C/E= 032010 Am7= x0201x this is played more as a hammer-on when I saw her on Austin City Limits--may be wrong about including it. C9=x32030 D/A=x00232 Gsus4= the Gsus4's used seem to vary between 3x2013 and 320013, hammer-on and off etc. Cheers Andrew Mullins [email protected]
