Rozz Williams (6 de noviembre de 1963 - †1 de abril de 1998), su nombre real es Roger Alan Painter, nacido e Ponoma, California.
Fue un músico americano de deathrock, conocido por ser el líder de los grupos Christian Death y Shadow Project (en este último, junto con la que era por entonces su mujer, Eva O). A menudo ha sido citado como el fundador del rock gótico americano, además de como el pionero del deathrock.
Su Seudónimo Rozz Williams fue sacado de una lápida de cementerio favorito
