E7 See that yellow moon rising high in the sky there A7 Don't let it fool you now, oh no It's just a feelin' but I don't want to find you lost E7 Paying a heavy cost for nothing at all It's a mighty long way to fall
There are angels in heaven but some fell away Don't let them fool you now, oh no It's not a feelin' but I heard that from the garden They were thrown out and hardened and as I recall It was a mighty long way to fall
Chorus: C#mA You can bet on this life, but the stakes will be high C#mA And talk all you want about heaven EDABm But the moon in your eyes and those in disguise C#mA Won't get you to paradise
Temptations are many with hearts running wild Don't let them fool you now, oh no It's not a feeling cause I crossed that line and lived a lie Suffered but didn't die saved from it all A mighty long way to fall
Chorus +: EAEA If you're fallin', fallin'; if you're fallin', fallin' (repeat)
