Biografía:
O Pure Prairie League foi formado em 1969 em Columbus, Ohio, e cujo nome deriva de uma personagem do filme "Dodge City" (1939) de Errol Flynn. Começou tocando nos arredores de Cincinati até conseguir um contrato com a gravadora RCA. Apesar de não ter conseguido boas vendas em seus primeiros álbuns, ter perdido o contrato com a gravadora e das inúmeras trocas de componentes o PPL conseguiu manter-se ativo e com um som bem característico, conseguindo muitos fãs no meio-oeste americano
