Biografía:
Paul Gilbert es un virtuoso guitarrista estadounidense. Nacido el 6 de noviembre de 1966 en Carbondale, Illinois. Comenzó a tocar la guitarra a los 5 años, y a los 15 apareció en la revista Guitar Player junto a Yngwie Malmsteen. En 1984 se mudó a Los Ángeles para ir a estudiar al GIT (Guitar Institute of Technology), volviéndose instructor al año.
Sus influencias van desde Eddie Van Halen e Yngwie Malmsteen hasta otras no tan comunes para un guitarrista de este estilo, como The Beatles, The Beach Boys y The Ramones.
